This is a photo project in the materials science about the study of salt crystal structure and crystal phase transformation. It offers a comprehensive artistic interpretation of crystal polymorphism and analysis of the Relationship between art and Metaphysics of the Life. The study of nature and ourselves.
The phenomenon of polymorphism, the ability of a molecule to adopt more than one crystal structure, is a well-established property of crystalline solids. The possible variations in physical properties between polymorphs make the reliable reproduction of a crystalline form. This study provides a precious demonstration of the organic ability to unite one and multiple, finite and infinite.
