Sea Inspired
Sea Inspired is a captivating mini-series of abstract paintings that evoke the tranquil yet dynamic essence of the ocean. Each piece features a harmonious blend of deep blues, soft whites, and subtle variations of shades, creating a sense of movement and depth. The strokes, both fluid and jagged, mimic the ebb and flow of waves, while scattered spots suggest the play of light and foam across the surface of the water.
This series speaks to the ever-changing nature of the sea, where movement and stillness coexist in perfect balance.
In this series, I use expressive, gestural brushwork to convey the rhythm and energy of the sea, allowing each painting to capture a fleeting moment—whether it's the calm of the shoreline or the intensity of an oceanic storm. The limited size of 20x20 cm invites an intimate viewing experience, encouraging the observer to dive deep into the layered textures and shifting tones of the sea.
The use of blue and white shades in various intensities enhances the feeling of openness, freedom, and fluidity, while the abstract strokes and spots leave ample room for personal interpretation, allowing each viewer to connect with the painting in their own way.
